Getting Here

Getting to the Morwell Hotel is hassle free, if driving from Melbourne:

  • Take the first exit Ramp off the M1, onto the Princes Drive Exit (C104)
  • Travel approx. 3.5 km along Princes Drive
  • Turn left at the Vincent Road intersection/Trafiic lights
  • Then right into the Hotel car park

If travelling to Morwell by train, the Morwell Train Station is approx. 1.7km away. There is also a taxi rank available at the train station.

Morwell is in the heart of the Latrobe Valley where you can visit Morwell’s renowned regional Art Gallery, walk through its famous Centenary Rose Garden that proudly showcases over 4000 bushes and explore the surrounding natural attractions.

The Morwell Civic Gardens are found near the Junction of Princes Drive and Monash Way, they consist of the Gippsland Immigration Park and the Kernot Lake which has a footbridge spanning it.

Visit Powerworks, at the top of Ridge Road, to learn all about Power generation. Also, while in Morwell you can visit the Hazelwood Pondage, an artificial lake that is attractive for water activities all year round including swimming, sailing, water skiing and canoeing.
